"Songs of a campaign", a collection of poems by Leon Gellert, Adelaide, G. Hassell & Son, 1917 with a photograph on the title page of Norman Lindsay and Leon Gellert at Springwood. It is a first edition and contains handwritten poems, "The night attack", "Girls, wives, mother" and "The soul forsaken" which appear in the third edition, also published in 1917.

Leon Maxwell Gellert, 1892-1977, served with the 10th Battalion A.I.F. which participated at the landing of Gallipoli during World War I.
